What is the PY1 pyramid?
PY1 is an innovative pyramid-shaped venue presenting unique entertainment experiences. Imagined by Guy Laliberté, this creative lab blends technology, innovation and imagination to explore the future of entertainment.
Is PY1 a permanent installation?
PY1 is a a fully tourable venue which made its debut in Montreal, Canada. The nomadic pyramid will now travel to Arlington, TX and visit the biggest cities in the world for the years to come.
What different programming are offered?
PY1 offers 4 unique content from early morning to late at night, 7 days a week:
- Shows
- Nights
- Special events
- Corporate experiences
All 4 configurations fully leverage PY1’s technology while offering totally different experiences.
Where does the name PY1 comes from?
"PY" refers to the first syllable of the word pyramid while the number 1 refers to the fact that it is the first of a new generation of venue.
Is PY1 accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the venue is 100% accessible to individuals with reduced mobility. The inside of the pyramid is also equipped with ramps that allow people with disabilities to access all areas of the structure.
What’s the audience capacity?
The pyramid can accommodate 600 spectators in a show configuration and up to 1,000 guests during a thematic night or a special event.
Is there A/C in the pyramid?
Yes, the temperature inside the pyramid will always be comfortable, even on the hottest days!
Is it allowed to consume food or drinks in the venue?
Food and drinks are forbidden inside the venue with the exception of PY1 nights where drinks are available for purchase inside the pyramid. That being said, we offer a beer garden outside the venue where you can grab a bite, have a drink and enjoy the view!
Is it possible to rent the pyramid?
Yes! PY1 is the perfect venue to create jaw-dropping events. All informations about rentals are available here.
Through the Echoes
What is Through the Echoes?
Featuring lasers, 360° projections, kinetic stage elements, special effects and grandiose lightscapes, Through the Echoes is one of-a-kind multimedia show transports you on technological odyssey through space and time.
How long is Through the Echoes?
The show is a 50 minute experience.
Can children attend the show?
Through the Echoes is recommended to 12 years and older at the discretion of parents. For security reasons, we ask that children always be accompanied by an adult.
How far in advance should we plan to arrive?
It is recommended to arrive 30 minutes before the show start time. You can also arrive earlier if you wish to enjoy the beer garden located on site!
Is there assigned seating?
The show functions on a general admission basis as the audience is invited to explore the environment as they wish. There is no possibility to assign or reserve seats.
Is there a specific dress code?
Spectators are free to stand, sit, lie down and move around openly during the show. Therefore, we recommend dressing comfortably. Please keep in mind that shirt and shoes are required.
Can people with epilepsy or photo-sensitivities attend this show?
Through the Echoes includes a wide variety of visual effects, sometimes similar to strobe effects. For that reason, we discourage the show to epileptic people and advise caution for spectators with acute sensitivities.
Can I use my phone during the show?
You may use your mobile device in a discreet manner to take photos and videos however, the use of flash and phone calls are strictly forbidden. Furthermore, videos mustn’t exceed 15 seconds in length in order to preserve artistic and intellectual integrity of the creators. Please make sure that you are respectful of others by limiting the use of mobile devices as much as possible.
Stella - The Time Machine Journey
What is Stella?
Stella - The Time Machine Journey is a fun and interactive multimedia show that encourages kids and parents to make their way through space and time by moving and dancing in the biggest time machine ever made!
How long is Stella?
Stella is a 40 minute experience.
Is there a maximum age for children?
Stella is recommended to 3-12 years old at the discretion of parents. That being said, parents are also invited to embark on the journey with their kids! For security reasons, we ask that children always be accompanied by an adult.
How far in advance should we plan to arrive?
It is recommended to arrive 30 minutes before the show start time. You can also arrive earlier if you wish to enjoy the patio located on site!
Is there assigned seating?
The show functions on a general admission basis as kids and parents are invited to explore the environment as they wish. There is no possibility to assign or reserve seats.
How should my kids dress to fully enjoy their experience?

What are PY1 Nights?
PY1 Nights are festive nightlife experiences that take guests through wonder-inspiring themed worlds as the pyramid transforms into a gigantic dancefloor. These events feature staggering original visuals, electronic music played by local DJs, and signature moments with our mystical lightbeings!
What is the minimum age to attend an event?
In order to enter a PY1 Night, you must be of legal drinking age as alcohol is being sold inside the venue. The minimum age is always aligned with the laws established by the country that PY1 is currently visiting.
What time do PY1 Nights start?
PY1 Nights begin at 9:30PM and run to 2AM.
How many different thematic worlds are there?
These redefined nightlife experiences let your choose from 6 wonder-inspiring worlds. Each theme is unique and offers its own visuals, musical genre, key moments and mood-board to inspire your costume! To discover all the different thematic worlds, click here!
Do I have to wear a costume to attend an event?
We invite you to let your fantasies take over and get drawn into the experience by dressing the part! That being said, you’re free to do as much or as little as you want. Each night is unique and costumes are as diverse as tastes… But whatever costume chooses you, own it!

Is there a coatcheck available in the pyramid?
Yes, you’ll be able to leave your jacket, bag and other items inside the small pyramid for free!
